This is another incredible Sony Ericsson's touch screen phone publicized on March 5, 2010. It was Sony Ericsson Vivaz that is available in different color options namely Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby. The mobile phone appears to be dazzling with the distinctive curved backside battery case. Its measurements are 107 mm in height and 51.7 mm wide. This phone is a light-weight model as it weighs just 97 grams. This device runs on Symbian OS S60, fifth edition.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz has a mp3 player which supports MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, AAC, M4A file formats together with a movie player that supports WMV, RV, MP4, 3GP file formats. It has also stereo FM radio with RDS to complete the multi-media features of the handset. the smartphone has the capacity to record video at 24 frames per second with 720p quality.

Connectivity

In the case of connectivity, Vivaz works with GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA up to 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA up to 2.0 Mbps. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and DLNA function. In order to transfer data or to connect to other handsets, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and microUSB 2.0 features is available.

Vivaz features a standard Li-Po battery of 1200 mAh which offers a stand by time of up to 430 hours (on 2G mode) / up to 440 hours (on 3G mode) and talk time of up to 430 hours (on 2G mode) / approximately 440 hours (3G).

Regrettably, there is no front camera for video call built into Sony Ericsson Vivaz phone and also the camera lens at the back side of the body is too exposed.
