BlackBerry Curve 9380 deals–The relief RIM needed the most
RIM recently declared two new mid-level BlackBerry smartphones, the Curve 9380 and the Bold 9790, to restricted fanfare; they were, after all, only the cheaper editions of the Torch 9850 and BlackBerry Bold 9900. Still, that is just what many users are searching for, particularly in places such as Indonesia where the BlackBerry force is still strong; however handset cost is a considerable bottleneck.
After receiving a quick tour of the new handsets at a local store, I reached my home with the Curve 9380 to use. Having lately used and reviewed the new Torch, it did not appear like there was anything new with it, although there were a little petite tweaks that give the Curve 9380 an unique spot in the BlackBerry range; whether that translates to any excitement in the smart phone marketplace at large is one more query altogether.
Most of the handsets of the BlackBerry Curve 9380 fall closely in step with the Torch 9850. The newly designed keys at the side reduces the fingerprints on the side of the handset, however is still clear enough to be unique and convenient to plot in the pocket. The single lock button on the crest takes just sufficient pressure to lock the handset, which is significant if users desire to avoid unintentionally unlocking their handset in their pocket.
Even among BlackBerry phones, which lean to be quite plastic-made, I was not chiefly glad with the build quality of this amazing handset from the Canadian mobile manufacturer. Even the front display was susceptible to a duo of minute scratches; and nothing is so bad as to see damaged screen, although I could witness RIM piling up over time without supplementary protection. That battery door is also an ache to eliminate using the selected indentation on the left side.
The 5 MP camera of the BlackBerry Curve 9380 represents the current trend of incorporating the powerful snappers in the handset, to attract amateur photographers. But, to make this handset sleek the power of the auto focus feature of the handset has been sacrificed.
The pool of applications offered by BlackBerry is also impressive, even on par with Android operating system. The majority of the best applications are developed by RIM, really, counting BlackBerry Travel, which routinely colonizes your calendar with travel schedules as affirmations arrive in through e-mail. Another excellent one is BlackBerry Protect, which gives an obliging suite of security utilities, such as tracking your handset's location via GPS. BlackBerry Curve 9380 deals are certain to get you excited.
